Its the first concept restaurant that has been created by the legendary designer Dolce & Gabbana. The restaurant is meant for bling lovers and more then lives up to its name – GOLD. D&G justify the name by claiming that Gold is the color of luxury, of energy , signifies a taste for beauty as well as sensual pleasure. The restaurant is absolutely blinged out in Gold and certainly not meant for the faint at heart since absolutely anything and everything – which includes the packaging for take-away is in brilliant gold hues. The food consists of Italian cuisine with superior quality ingredients. The Gourmet menu, the furniture and every other detail has been carefully planned as is clearly evident from the accompanying pictures. The chic gold shopping bags beg you to order for some take-away if only to walk away with these fantastic bags. Check out the lunch and dinner menus and you realize that Gold is definitely affordable. Make sure you make your reservations. Oh, you need to fly down to MIlan unless you happen to be there already. Just make sure its not on a Sunday since the restaurant is closed on Sundays.
