Lamborghini’s Aventador J is designed, above all else, for going fast. There’s no climate control or navigation system, and in place of a roof and windshield are small wind deflectors. The idea is essentially a two-seater sport-bike: they’ve used carbon fiber across the bumpers, air scoop and more. Under the hood is the same 700-hp 6.5-liter 12-cylinder found in the standard Lamborghini Aventador, meaning you’re flying. Yes, this is a real car you can buy.
Lamborghini is among our favorite car manufacturers, and their Aventador is easily one of the most beautiful vehicles to hit the road. Well designer Marko Petrovic decided to take all of the styling aesthetics we love about the Lamborghini Aventador applying them to this beautiful concept watch.
Known as the Avenger Vertical Tourbillon, the watch is even sporting the neck breaking Lamborghini orange colorway. The timepiece’s face was meant to replicate the Lambo’s mid-engine comparment, and the outer ends of the face are inspired by the exterior of the vehicle.
There are many exclusive cars out there and then there are some REALLY exclusive cars. If you own one of the five following cars, chances are one of your buddies doesn’t have one too. At US$9.6 million, the Aston Martin Super Sport is one of the world’s most expensive super cars. Designed by Ken Okuyama, the former Pininfarina head designer, its V12 engine is based on the V8 found in Maserati’s Quattroporte. Only 400 units were produced and the car, which was offered at a base price of US$670,000, now trades at around US$1million at auctions.
