Belgian designer Raf Simons has been lauded around the globe as a fashion superstar. A master of cut, fabric and trend – Mr. Simons has worked at Jil Sander and collaborated with Fred Perry. It’s his own menswear-only label, however, that’s truly most impressive. Adding to his minimalist label’s slew of accessory offerings, Simons has teamed up with Linda Farrow, a venerable eyewear brand launched in 1970 by Linda herself and revived in 2003 after her son discovered a hidden trove of deadstock sunglasses. Choosing a basic plastic aviator frame as a base, the two high-fashion brands crafted the sunglasses in a dark red hue, chose gradient lenses for the frames and accented the shades with a brushed metal nose-bridge and arms.
