Raf Simons accessories and shoes are drawing our attention even more than the main collection these days. Our heads were recently turned by this vision in blue, those kind of easy to wear low-top sneakers that retain a smart streak, allowing you to keep it slick. Sometimes you just need a break from your shoe n’ boots situation. Cerulean-blue suede offset by bright white toe, these aren’t going to change your life but they will make the area from ankle down look pretty sweet.

Straight from Raf Simons Fall/Winter 2011 Collection come the Rivet high top sneaker. Coming in a clean premium white leather, the sneaker features denim rivets placed a bit all-over, without taking the concept too far. Most of the lacing is hidden, yet they added one hiking boot eyelet at the top and smartly added velcro to the tongue, which results in a nice form factor of the sneaker.

Belgian designer Raf Simons has been lauded around the globe as a fashion superstar. A master of cut, fabric and trend – Mr. Simons has worked at Jil Sander and collaborated with Fred Perry. It’s his own menswear-only label, however, that’s truly most impressive. Adding to his minimalist label’s slew of accessory offerings, Simons has teamed up with Linda Farrow, a venerable eyewear brand launched in 1970 by Linda herself and revived in 2003 after her son discovered a hidden trove of deadstock sunglasses. Choosing a basic plastic aviator frame as a base, the two high-fashion brands crafted the sunglasses in a dark red hue, chose gradient lenses for the frames and accented the shades with a brushed metal nose-bridge and arms.
