Electric vehicles are becoming a popular choice when it comes to alternative powered automobiles. One of the many reasons automobile enthusiasts do not like to give up their fuel powered vessels is due to the amount of power they create, but electric motors are known for putting out massive amounts of torque and power in general. The newly introduced Rimac Concept One definitely stays true to that notion.

This monster pumps out over 1,000 horsepower, 1,088 ponies to be exact with 3,800 Nm of torque allowing  this rock to accelerate to 62 miles per hour in just 2.8 seconds. The vehicle can also reach speeds of 190 mph. What makes this vehicle so special is the fact that there are four independent electric motors located on each wheel. The Concept One is currently slated for a 2013 release date with only 88 said to be in production.
